Awaken Saunas
A lifestyle visualisation suite for Awaken Saunas, showing their bespoke outdoor sauna across two complementary moods. A bright daytime backyard scene captures friends gathered around the sauna, while moonlit dusk and steamy interior renders bring out the warmth and atmosphere of an evening session.
Approach
Awaken Saunas needed imagery that didn't just sell a product, but sold the ritual around it. We treated each scene as a moment in a wider day, building a backyard set the camera could move through from a sunlit lunch with friends to a quiet evening soak.
Execution
The daylight scene used a soft late-summer afternoon lighting setup with natural sky and bounced fill across the timber deck. The night exterior was lit by a fabricated moon plus subtle warm fixtures from inside the sauna, with real volumetric steam from the chimney. The interior was lit entirely from the wood-fired stove, with detailed material work on the cedar walls, rocks, and robes.
Result
The three renders give Awaken Saunas a coordinated visual suite for product pages, social campaigns, and the trade-show stand — the same product shown across three distinct emotional registers, all built from one scene library.
