Personal Gym Interior Design
A luxury home remodel blending modern fitness with classic architecture
This project focused on the narrative of a home remodel, transforming a classic space into a high end personal gym interior design. The challenge was making the modern fitness equipment seamlessly coexist with the property's original character.
Approach
Our approach involved careful compositional balance to ensure the heritage wasn't overshadowed by the sleek modern additions. We worked out a spatial layout to allow the heavy iron elements to coexist with Victorian style walls and include a luxury sauna as part of the overall wellness experience.
Execution
We accurately modeled the rich, historical details of the Victorian architecture, cornices, skirting, and expansive windows, and contrasted them with sleek, modern gym apparatus. The lighting strategy bridged the two eras, utilizing natural daylight for an energizing workout environment and warm, recessed lighting near the sauna area to emphasize relaxation.
Result
The visualization successfully sold the vision of a holistic wellness retreat within a historic home. The dual image presentation allowed the client to fully grasp the transition from active workout zones to the tranquil sauna recovery space, ensuring approval for the ambitious remodel.
